This is the complete poem. Please enjoy the whole first!
He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.
The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.
Paraphrasing
Line 1
He here is the eagle. The eagle is a kind of wild bird. At that time he was clapping his wings and landing on the crag by using his two claws (crooked hands). Just look at the picture bellow!
Line 2
The position of the eagle is very high (close to the sun). He lands on a barren land and the situation is very lonely. Just look at this picture!
Line 3
He stares his food from its position and then moves to get it. Look at this small picture.
Line 6 (2nd stanza)
He moves (flys) quickly and looks like a thunderbolt when trere is a hard rain. Look at these pictures!
Wish be usefull!
